Speech Eat Learn LLC was founded in 2021. We are central to the Boca Raton area and are currently servicing patients in their homes, schools, and around the community in South Florida: from Lauderhill to Delray Beach in Broward County and Palm Beach County. Teletherapy services are available to those residing in Florida, Arizona, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Washington. We are currently a small company and hope to grow enough to help the community but plan on staying small enough to keep services individualized, prioritized, and to continue providing the best quality of care.

At Speech Eat Learn, we believe that a collaborative, team-based approach is essential for achieving the best progress and skill retention. Our approach involves not just the patient, but also their family, therapists, and medical professionals, all working together to support the patient's development. Our therapists go beyond the therapy sessions, offering collaboration, observation, advocacy, and counseling to ensure that both the patient and their family feel comfortable, confident, and happy.

We prioritize teaching in ways that align with how each patient learns best. This means adapting to their needs rather than expecting them to conform to our methods. By incorporating their interests and sensory needs, we use multiple modalities to enhance skill retention, making therapeutic goals both enjoyable and functional. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach rejects compliance-based behavioral techniques, focusing instead on respect and understanding.

Though we are well-rounded in a variety of speech, language, and feeding areas, we specialize in functional communication, reading and phonological awareness, feeding therapy, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and bilingual speech and language acquisition. We are able to provide therapy to children in English and Spanish. We are a DIR Floortime provider. For feeding, we are trained and use methods in the SOS Approach to Feeding (and the food science model) as well as the AEIOU responsive feeding approach. We are continuously learning just like our kiddos and we continue to expand our experiences and tools with the most up-to-date research that works best for our patients.

We are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest research to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Our goal is to have the time, freedom, and flexibility to specialize in our field while focusing on planning and individualizing each treatment session.

 

We value working with engaged families who will integrate our techniques into the patient’s daily life, maximizing their progress. Our individualized, concierge-style private practice was born out of a desire to move away from the constraints of insurance and billing-focused companies, which often hinder access to adequate, personalized care. At Speech Eat Learn, we strive to focus entirely on our patients, enhancing their communication, confidence, relationships, and overall quality of life.
